 The 5-axis CNC Advantage
With the largest vacuum thermoforming equipment inventory in the area, Form-It has the tools, skill-set and ingenuity to meet the production demands of a wide range of clientele. Form-It boasts the only 5-axis CNC router in the city. Unlike 3-axis CNC routers, which are limited to vertical and horizontal movements, the 5-axis CNC router swivels in all directions which allows for 3D applications and high quality, precision trim machining. Computerized probes can trace highly intricate 3D patterns and instantly create trimming programs that repeat the same pattern consistently with exacting accuracy.
The Inventory
Other machinery in Form-It Plastic's equipment inventory includes: flame polishers, drape forming equipment ─ which can accommodate plastic sheets up to 8'X10', 3-axis CNC router, punch presses, an array of trimming and routing equipment and a high speed, 4-stage Rotary Vacuum Former for large volume runs. Environmentally conscious, Form-It Plastics makes it standard practice to recycle all trimmings and redundant plastics. |
